TSD Homecoming is one of the highlights of the year for the Austin Deaf community.
Hundreds of people, Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and hearing alike, swarmed the school campus this past Saturday, September 22, to eat, play, talk it up and gear up for some high school football.
Before heading to the big game with friends, SADA volunteered at the Booster Club’s booth, caught the end of a volleyball game against Maryland and looked around the Heritage Center (did you know that TSD is 151 years old — the oldest continuously operating publicly funded school in Texas?).
The victors defeated the California School for the Deaf — Riverside. Go Rangers!
